Фильм «Родная земля: в гостях у демьянских хантов» создан сотрудниками РОО «Будущее тюменской геологии» по итогам этносоциальной экспедиции, в рамках реализации проекта «Сохраним демьянских хантов!» с использованием гранта Президента Российской Федерации на развитие гражданского общества, предоставленного Фондом президентских грантов.
В фильме ярко представлен традиционный образ жизни и традиционная культура демьянских хантов Уватского муниципального района. В нем рассказывается о радостях и трудностях, проблемах и надеждах этих удивительных людей, жизнь которых завязана с капризным Демьяном.
